Hi guys! This is TSN Baseball, and I will be reporting on the Saturday games. Before we give you any reports on the games, we apologize for the delay of reporting on last week's games. We are sorry for any inconvenience that we caused. Sorry!
Anyways, we will be reporting four games for Saturday. Stay tuned for the Sunday games.
The first game we would be reporting is the game of Samsung and LG. Samsung's starter pitcher, Bae Young-soo, finally started pitching after rehabilitation from a previous injury. LG's starting pitcher is Woo Gyu-min, with a win-loss record of 9-5. The game started off with Samsung scoring one run in the first inning, while LG could do nothing to turn the situation upside down. Samsung scored 3 more runs the following inning, which finished the game for the day. LG was helpless, and the team went scoreless until the 9th inning. Samsung scored three more times, in the 6th, 8th, and 9th inning. Woo Gyu-min switched out of the game in the 6th inning, but it didn't do much good, as 4 more changes in pitchers occurred. LG managed to score two runs in the ninth inning, as starting pitcher Jang Won-sam came and saved the game, although they couldn't turn the scores around, which let Samsung capture the prestige of being first place with LG.
The second game that we are going to report is the game of Hanwha and Kia. the starting pitcher of Hanwha Eagles will be Yoon Geun-young, with a win-loss record of 2-3. The game started out pretty rough for Hanwha, as Yoon Geun-young threw a base-and-ball to Lee Yong-kyu. Then, shortstop Park Gi-nam for Kia blasted a ball over the left fence for a homerun, which made Kia winning 0:2. However, Kia would not know what disaster would happen next.
The appalling twist of fate started when Seo Jae-eung, the starting pitcher for Kia, started giving up a lot of hits. Kim Tae-whan walked to first, then Jeong Hyun-seok hit a double, which made man on third and first. More walks and hits followed, and a total of 12 batters got to hit in the same inning, and the score flipped to 6:2, which practically gave the game a winning team. By then, Park Gyung-tae came in to pitch the game. In the fourth inning, consecutive hits allowed Kia to move up 6:4, in an endeavor to turn the tables. This only encouraged Hanwha to go further, as Hanwha scored 4 more runs in the 5th inning. Kia retaliated from the help of a hit by pitch, when Kim Gwang-soo came in to pitch the game for Yoon Geun-young. This led Kia to 10:5. Hanwha went more aggressive, as they scored another run in the 9th inning. Lee Tae-yang came to finish up the game, and the game ended 11:5, with the first win to Kim Gwang-soo and the 9th loss to Seo Jae-eung.
Please stay tuned for the game of NC vs. SK, and Doosan vs. Nexen!
