Last game, Doosan beat LG in a tense game by a score of 5 to 4. It was a very tense game. A man on second base ran to home in the 9th inning, and slid home, but catcher Choi Jae-hoon made a good barrier and tagged the runner out, while getting injured from the collision.
Today this is the 4th game of Doosan and LG, with Doosan leading the playoffs with 2-1. The Bears are looking for fresh meat from the Twins, while the Twins are looking forward to show the beasts that they will win.
The starting pitcher for Doosan is Yoo Hui-Kwan, who is famous for his slow fastballs. The starting pitcher for LG is Woo Gyu-min, with an unusual sidearm pitch. This is a little unusual as he is a starting pitcher, and he is not an overarm pitcher.
The first inning stayed normal, but it was in the second inning when runs were scored. Doosan scored with the help of hits and sacrifice hits. More specifically, LG first baseman Kim Yong-Eui made a careless error which allowed Doosan to score.
The score stayed that way until the 7th inning, when LG scored when Park Yong-tek drove catcher Yoon Yo-sup in home, balancing the score out. The relief was temporary, though. In the bottom of the 7th inning, Lee Jong-wook drove in Lim Jae-chul home with a hit. The following inning, Doosan managed to score three more runs when the pinch hitter Choi Jun-suk blasted one out of the fence.
The game ended that way, and Doosan won the game to go up to the Korean Series.
Win: Yoo Hui-Kwan (Doosan)
Lose: Woo Gyu-min (LG)
