Hi guys! This is TSN Baseball, and the playoffs have just started! Doosan defeated Nexen in the semi-playoffs after a tough comeback, when Nexen won 2 games at the beginning then Doosan won the 3 in a row. Doosan has won 3 games in a row, and they are waiting for some fresh meat from the Twins, while the Twins are looking forward to hunt some bears.
The starter for Doosan was No Kyung-eun, who had a post season record of 1-0 while the starter for LG was Ryu Jae-guk, who had a post season record of 0-0, as he never pitched in the postseason before.
The first inning didn't work out well for both teams. Lee Jong-wuk hit a triple the first at bat. Kim Hyun-soo then scored him in, then another run was scored. This seemed like the winning run for Doosan, but Lee Byung-koo hit a 2 run homer that tied out the score over the left field.
The score stayed that way until the 7th inning, 2 outs and man on third. Choi Jun-suk hit a high grounder, and veteran Jung Seong-hoon went to field the ball. But the ball decided to bounce once more, and that left the veteran missing the ball. This error led to the 3rd run scored.
Jeong Soo-bin drove in the man on 2nd home, scoring the 4th run to secure the victory. Reliever Hong Sang-sam saved the game, striking out 2 people.
